Job Title: Social Media and Digital Marketing Coordinator

Reports To: Marketing Manager

Position Description
The Center for the Performing Arts seeks a high-energy professional to join our Marketing and Communications team as a full-time Social Media and Digital Marketing Coordinator.

The Social Media and Digital Marketing Coordinator will monitor and administer the Center’s social media channels and help manage social media and web content creation to support brand promotion and strategic positioning. The candidate should have experience in developing social media campaigns and marketing plans that yield increased engagement and measureable results.

The position calls for excellent writing and communications skills with the ability to tell the Center’s story creatively and accurately, as well as experience in all aspects of email marketing, SEO/SEM, Google AdWords and Google Analytics. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, self-motivated and able to juggle multiple priorities. The candidate also should be detail-oriented, organized and able to use quantitative metrics to support recommendations.

Responsibilities and Duties
•    Develop and execute digital media and social media marketing strategy
•    Manage all aspects of company’s social media channels, including but not limited to the daily collecting and posting of relevant content, daily monitoring and response to audience postings, accelerating the growth of followers, increasing audience engagement, and measuring and analyzing the effectiveness of social media efforts
•    Manage email marketing efforts, including developing content and measuring and analyzing open, unsubscribe and click rates
•    Develop and implement SEO/SEM efforts
•    Manage the Center’s Google AdWords Grant
•    Perform data analysis and provide results of marketing efforts
•    Work with marketing team on digital marketing and social media efforts
•    Execute and report on patron surveys
•    Follow and report regularly on emerging social media and digital marketing trends
•    Occasional evening and weekends required


Qualifications and Skills
•    Undergraduate degree or higher
•    3-5 years of digital marketing and social media experience
•    Demonstrated success in developing, planning and implementing global digital marketing and social media strategies
•    Experience with social media marketing across all major platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube
•    Hands-on experience using a social media platform management tool such as Sprout or Hootsuite
•    Hands-on experience using an email marketing platform such as Wordfly, MailChimp, or Constant Contact
•    Experience developing and implementing campaigns with Google AdWords
•    Working knowledge of performance metrics and tools such as Google Analytics
•    Experience conducting data analysis and creating dashboard analytics
•    Experience developing and implementing SEO/SEM best practices
•    Excellent writing and communications skills
•    Must be a team player
•    Performing arts, music, live entertainment or nonprofit experience a plus
