Center for the Performing Arts issues catering RFP

Carmel (Nov. 4, 2013) - The Center for the Performing Arts is seeking multiple catering service operators. The Center issued a request for proposals (RFP) today. Proposals are due on Nov. 29, with finalists notified on Dec. 6. The complete RFP is available for viewing at the Center’s website by clicking here.

The Center for the Performing Arts is seeking multiple preferred caterers with experience in cultural institutions. The selected operators will demonstrate success in managing the catering needs of a rental facility. Each selected vendor will be designated as a “preferred caterer” at the Center for the Performing Arts. The Center is looking for full service caterers as well as partial service, and drop off vendors.

Within each venue at the Center, the meeting and event spaces vary. For example, the Palladium provides seven unique spaces available for event rental. The spaces will be marketed for events ranging from afternoon meetings to evening receptions. The complex will accommodate small to medium-size gatherings with a range of gathering rooms and unique balcony spaces.

The Center for the Performing Arts, in City Center, includes the 1600-seat Palladium; the 500-seat proscenium Tarkington Theater; and the 200-seat Studio Theater. The Palladium opened in January 2011 and is also home to the Michael Feinstein Great American Songbook Initiative, acting as a museum and education center by day, and a concert venue by night.
