2016-17 is a Season of Discovery!

The Center for the Performing Arts has something to discover season after season. Share your discoveries at the Center’s welcome table in the lobby and via social media by using #MyDiscovery

Randal and Libby Brown shared their #DiscoveryStory with us. See more below and stay tuned all season to hear what people are discovering at the Center!

How have you been involved at the Center in the last 5 seasons?

Season subscribers for Songbook Series, Actor’s Theater of Indiana, and Civic Theater. Donors to Palladium and the Great American Songbook Foundation.

What have you discovered at the Center?

Great shows, awesome staff. Libby toured behind the scenes and loved it.

What has been your favorite memory at the Center?

Hearing Tony Bennett sing “I Left My Heart In San Francisco” a Capella and without the sound system at the end of his show. It highlighted the quality of the acoustics at the Palladium and his amazing talent at age 88.

How have you been most inspired while on campus at the Center?

The Songbook Academy continues to impress us with the level of talent that is shown every year. We enjoy it so much that we volunteered to help out this year.

What would you invite your friends to discover for themselves?

The beauty and the sound quality of the Palladium, the intimacy of the Studio Theater, and the comfort of the Tarkington. Shows never disappoint. We always comment while driving home how fortunate we are to experience this type of entertainment just 10 minutes from home.

What are you excited to discover next season?

A surprise that we didn’t see coming.
