The Michael Feinstein Great American Songbook Initiative

Our Mission

The two-fold mission of the Michael Feinstein Foundation is to bring the music of the Great American Songbook to young people today and to preserve it for future generations.

We are committed to keeping this music alive through the following initiatives:

• Regional and national high school vocal academies and competition.
• Multi-disciplinary curriculum for elementary through high school students.
• Preservation of the physical artifacts of the creators, performers and publishers of the music.
• Research facility for scholars, historians, and performers.
• Multimedia gallery for exhibiting our collections to the public.

We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization to which all contributions are tax-deductible.
