Dance Discovery Class: 1980s Groove
Wednesday, October 4 | 6:30pm-8:30pm
Tarkington  Rooms 141 & 142

Disco had died. MTV, big hair, and parachutes pants were all the rage and pop artists like Michael Jackson and Madonna ruled the airwaves. With new music came new dances. The Cabbage Patch, Electric Slide, Moonwalk, The Robot, and Hammer Dance were just a few that kept us moving on the dance floor.

During this session, we’ll have a blast learning some new moves and brushing up on some old! Parachute pants and leg warmers are totally optional. No partner or previous dancing experience necessary to register. Suggested for ages 12 through adult.

Appropriate Attire

Clothing that is comfortable to move in and dance shoes if you have them. If not, non-rubber soled shoes. No sandals.
